Membership of Newcastle Bushwalking Club costs $30 per annum. There are no additional club fees to attend activities. Membership includes our electronic Magazine published 4 times per year. (If you require a printed magazine there is an additional fee - contact the club for details)

Membership fees for all members are due on the 1st January each year, regardless of joining date.

Membership for people joining after Oct 1st will be valid until December of the following year (15months).

Applying to join NBC

NBC welcomes you to come and try out our club by attending up to three activities at no cost. This provides you with the opportunity to see if the club suits you and allows us to get to know you as well.

After attending a few activities if you are interested in joining please send us an email at: activities@newcastlebushwalkingclub.org.au and ask to join. We will then send you some information and instructions on how to apply. IMPORTANT we won't send you the application information unless you have attended at least one activity.

Because our club is run by volunteer members it is likely we will be busy on activities, so please expect us to take up to a week to send you the information.

Membership is approved, or otherwise, by the committee at the end of each month and is not valid until approved.

Renewing your NBC membership

NBC will send a renewal notice to all members a month ahead of the due date. The renewal notice will contain detailed instructions and a link to the renewal form.

If you expect to be away and would like to renew early please email activities@newcastlebushwalkingclub.org.au for your renewal notice.

Past Members of NBC

If your membership has lapsed in the past 12 months you may no longer attend activities until you rejoin. Simply email us and we will send you the application instructions. If it has been more than 12 months and you want to see how we have evolved, you may come to one activity before needing to rejoin.

NOTE - The club maintains a Facebook Page for the benefit of its members. Anyone is able to apply to join the club Facebook page. Membership of the FB page is NOT membership of NBC
